Veneer Bonding

One of reasons for veneer failure is debonding due to saliva contamination during veneer bonding.  Rubber dam is the best method of isolation.  Use a rubber dam template (below rubber dam box) to locate holes.  How many holes?  One or two teeth distal to the tooth of interest.  For example, peg laterals need veneer bonding.  Totally 6 holes require to be punched with a pair of rubber dam clamps (bring the whole clamp box).  Prepare syringe in case the prep teeth are sensitive or for rubber dam clamp application.  Take photos for each step.

The second reason for veneer failure is chip due to bruxism.  Alginate impression will be taken after bonding for night guard.
