Ossification Center I

A 40-year-old man requests extraction of the teeth #17 and 32 (Fig.1).  This case is designed to test that socket ossifies coronal when Collagen Plu is placed coronal.  Release incision will be made both sides.  Collagen plug will be placed at #32; none at #17.  4-0 PGA will be used to close the sockets.  Photos will be taken immediate, 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months postop.  PAs (sensor 1) will be taken immediate and 3 months postop.  Everything is conducted for extraction except immediate postop photos (Fig.2-5).   There is no wound dehiscence 1 week postop (Fig.6,7).  The sockets reopen asymptomatic 3 weeks postop (Fig.8-11).
