Veneers for Microdontia

A 19-year-old man requests making the upper lateral incisors flat (Fig.1,2).  It is easier to fix the tooth #7 than #10, because of the mesiodistal space associated with the former.  There is cusp tip wear of #6 and 11 (Fig.2 ^), suggesting bruxism.  Does the latter increase possibility of treatment failure, particularly with porcelain veneers?  Does this case need pre-orthodontic treatment to increase space for the laterals and correct #6 rotation (Fig.3)?  The root length of the microdontia is within normal limit (Fig.4,5).  Immediate implant at #4 (Fig.3) is scheduled prior to veneers.

Do ortho first, then implant and veneers.  Pt needs to wear NG after the veneers done.  Ping Hai, DDS

In fact composite veneers are placed (Fig.6,7).  There is minor open margin at #10 four years postop (Fig.8-10).  Oral hygiene is provided.
