Without reference to the big picture, an immediate implant (7x17 mm gingiva-level) for #2 tends to be placed with mesial inclination; sinus lift (sinus floor: red dashed line) will be uneven with tendency of sinus membrane perforation (Fig.3). This PA was taken 5 months earlier when a 5.3x8 mm bone-level implant was placed. The patient has had an upper removable partial denture with a pontic at the site of #3.
