The patient returns 2 months postop because of dislodgement of the provisional.  When it is placed back after being trimmed, it looks cosmetically pleasing (Fig.16).   It is psychologically important to this patient to have this provisional.  To us, it is comfortable to see that the buccal cusps are not as long as those of the neighboring teeth.  There must be no occlusal interference.   She is a bruxer.  The teeth #4 and 14 have crack lines 5.5 years later (Fig.1).
