Ten months post cementation, the splinted crowns at #8 and 9 remain stable with healthy gingiva; it appears that the tooth #10 needs extraction and implant (Fig.8,9). There is possible severe buccal plate resorption at the sites of #9 and 10. A long implant is expected: 16 or 18 mm. In fact the ridge at #10 is narrow (as shown by the shadow above the apex), as well as by CT. The implant should be narrower and shorter (2.0 or 2.5x10-14 mm).
