When the tooth is diagnosed to be unable to be saved, she chooses extraction and immediate implant (Fig.3 I) without hesitation. Bone powder is placed around the implant (Fig.3 *).
Ms. Wang returns for permanent crown fabrication 4 months after surgery. She is pleased with the result, saying that the neighboring teeth become stronger after the implant. The bone powder (Fig.3 *) appears to have become part of her own jaw bone (Fig.6 *).
