Bone Condensation 5 Months Post Extraction?

A 48-year-old lady had the tooth #19 extracted 5 months ago with mild to moderate ridge atrophy (take preop photos to show the bone shrinkage).  The socket looks "empty" (Fig.1).  After incision and raising the flaps, use #15 scalpel to start bone expansion and condensation, followed by bone scalpels, bone blades, D osteotomes and RT 2,3 as deep as possible (~ 10 mm, Fig.2 (yellow dashed line: the superior border of the Inferior Alveolar Nerve)).  Drills may be used for apical new bone osteotomy (3-4 mm).
