A 6x14 mm implant is placed with insertion torque > 56 Ncm (Fig.6 I).  Due to misplacement of the sensor, the Inferior Alveolar Canal (IAC) is not shown.  With short implant design (Fig.4), there is minimal panic when the intraop PA does not show IAC.  After placement of an abutment (Fig.7 A) and bone graft (G: autogenous and Osteogen) and change of a sensor holder, the implant is shown to have enough clearance from IAC (dotted line).  The extent and density of radiolucency in the mesial (Fig.12 *) and distal sockets change 3.5 months postop.
