Note bone growth, especially at #30, 2.5 and 4 months postop (Fig.3,4).    In fact the abutments are incompletely seated.  The crown of #30 is loose with foul smell 2 years 8 months post cementation.  It is painful to reinsert the crown/abutment after proximal reduction.  A healing abutment is placed (Fig.5).  When the incompletely seated abutment at #31 is removed, there is also smell.  After separation from the crown, the abutment of #31 returns to the site with change in insertion position, while a smaller abutment has to be used at #30 (Fig.6) due to use of the small healing abutment earlier (Fig.5).  A good piece of news is the presence of the bone between the implants (Fig.5,6 *), which contributes to interimplant papilla.
