Undercorrection (Fig.8 white rectangle) and overcorrection (Fig.9 shorter white rectangle with *). As the osteotomy increases, the underprep osteotomy may return distal (blue arrow). Dashed line in Fig.9 indicates that these three osteotomies are connected with Lindamann bur.
Ideally X-ray should be taken after correction of the trajectory, preferably with an increase in osteotomy depth.
