The block will be harvested from the chin (Fig.5,6) using surgical handpiece with a new fissure bur.  In fact make bony cut each one from the midline, 7x7 mm.  The superior cut should be 4 mm from the apices of the lower anterior teeth to avoid neurovascular damage.  Make the shallow cut and take PA for confirmation.  The thickness of the graft is ~ 3 mm.

The bone is narrow apical to the tooth #5 (Fig.7), which may be the reason for the severe bone loss at #6 and 7 after extraction.  It appears that the palatal apex is more or less in the center of the alveolus.
