After 2 and 3 mm drills, a 3.8x16 mm implant is placed, followed by collagen membrane/allograft (Fig.2 < (buccally)) and a cemented abutment (A: 4.5x5(3) mm).
In fact, the implant is placed too palatal so that there is heavy palatal reduction in the abutment (Fig.3 A). With a piece of gauze in the buccal gap to cover the bone graft (*), an immediate provisional is fabricated. For the best cosmetic result, the labial margin of the abutment (^) should have been prepared more apically.
