BEB through Residual Root Socket

A 37-year-old man will return for #14 extraction and implant after RCT at #13 (Fig.1).  After extraction (Fig.2), use Magic Expander (ME) along the long axis of the socket to initiate osteotomy shy of the sinus floor (Fig.3 (<9 mm gingival level)) and change the trajectory at the same time (Fig.4 white arrow).  Take the 1st intraop PA when a small ME is stable.  Gradually increase the depth for sinus lift as the diameter of MEs increases (Fig.5).  Take preop photos to show the residual root and the alveolus (whether it is atrophic or not).  Place bone graft (Fig.6 red circles) prior to dummy implant (green).
