Following insertion of collagen plug and allograft (.5-1 mm)/autogenous bone for sinus lift, a 5x10 mm implant is placed with ~35 Ncm (insertion torque); larger size of allograft (1-2 mm) and Osteogen is placed in the major part of the bony defect (Fig.5).  The remaining bony defect (*) is in the distal portion of the palatal socket, which will be filled in the next round of bone grafting.
