Fig.2: Implant size at #18 will be 5.9x10 mm (the opening of the socket of #31: 6x9 mm (buccolingual x mesiodistal)). The center of the implant will be ~ 5 mm from the distal surface of the neighboring tooth. The mesial gingiva is about 2 mm in thickness. The implant will be place ~ 2 mm apical to the mesial crest. There will be ~ 1.6 mm bone-implant contact distally, whereas 4 mm in the middle of the implant.
