Long Bone: Long Implant

A 61-year-old man develops light pain associated with the tooth #4 with palatal subgingvial fracture (Fig.2 (*: periapical radiolucency)).   Since the bone is apparent long (Fig.1), a long implant (15 mm bone level for guide, as long as 18 mm free hand or 20 mm tissue level) is to be placed for stability and early restoration.  Because of palatal fracture in association with bone loss, the implant will be not placed too palatal.  In fact the patient chooses to save the tooth with RCT.
