Multiple Implant Placement by Stage

Fig.1 shows implant exposure at #11 (*) 2 weeks postop.  If it persists 1 month 10 days when the patient returns for #12-14 implant placement (Fig.3), it will be fixed. 

When the provisional bridge is removed (Fig.2 black area), make initial osteotomy through a surgical stent.  A crestal incision is made ending the #11 implant distal (Fig.2 white line).  After #12-14 implant placement, move the buccal flap anteriorly to close the gap at #11 (Fig.4 arrow).  Place bone graft (preferably autogenous) and collagen membrane under the flap.
