Sinus Lift Using Bone Expanders

The 54-year-old man will return for #14 implant placement 1 month post the one at #20 (Fig.1).  If the bone is wide or moderate, use 1.6 mm drill with possible drill extension to penetrate the mucosa and start osteotomy at the depth of 18 mm, followed by DIO bone expanders.  The bone density of this patient is expected to be high.  What extra kit should be prepared?

The tip of the initial osteotomy should be mesial to compensate for distal tendency when the osteotomy increases at the sloped sinus floor.
