A Reliable Landmark for Lower 2nd Molar Osteotomy

A 72-year-old man will return for #31 immediate implant several months after that at #21 (Fig.1,2).  After extraction (no Antibiotic), separation of the gingiva (Fig.1) from the septum (Fig.3 S (white curved line: the upper border of the septum)) and use of starter drill, place the 13 mm stopper (Fig.4 red) in the 2 mm initial drill (green) against the septal top as a reliable landmark for osteotomy.
